Tanko Foundation Cuts sod For Community Water Supply Project in Avalavi

 

Mr Gabriel Kwabla Kwamigah the Chief executive officer of Tanko Foundation cut sod for the commencement of work on community water supply project in Avalavi in the Ketu north municipal to end the long acute water shortage problem in the community .

Speaking at a short ceremony in Avalavi Mr Kwamigah said Tanko Foundation is an Non Governmental organization which derive joy in putting smiles on the face of people in deprived communities.

He said the project with financial support from Tanko Foundation when completed is expected to supply water to the people of Avalavi and it’s environs.

Women in Avalavi skip sleep in the comfort of their bed to queue for just a basin of water for use by their family and school going children are not left out.

Mr Kwamigah presented a cheque of GHC 10,000 to start the project also the member of parliament for Ketu north Hon James Klutse Avedzi promised his commitment to the project.

He again use the occasion to donate GHC 10,000 towards the completion of the ultramodern Ketu north NDC party office complex.

The assemblyman for Avalavi Hon Famous Kodzo Gada on behalf of the people expressed gratitude to Tanko Foundation for the gesture..

Present at the ceremony was Ketu north NDC constituency executives from Dzodze, penyi, Afife and Weta zone…
