Avenor Tutudoza is the re-branded and rejuvenated festival celebrated by the chiefs and people of Avenor State under the auspices of the Avenor Traditional Council, and the royal patronage of Togbe Dorglo Anumah VI, the paramount Chief and President of the Avenor Traditional Council, with support from the Akatsi South and North District Assemblies.
Avenor Tutudoza 2018 initiated a strong come-back for the ever anticipated annual festival of the people of Avenor with a very colorful and rich cultural expose. The various pre – event activities last year, paved the way for a very highly patronized grand durbar, which the people of Avenor and others who witnessed it say “it promises to be the biggest festival in the Volta region”
This year’s festival, which is dubbed Avenor Tutudoza 2019 will be launched on the 12th of September 2019 at the Christ The King Parish Accra- opposite Flag staff House. The Avenor Traditional Council invites all sons and daughters, friends and well-wishers of Avenor to this very important event.
The theme for the 2019 Avenor Tutudoza is “ Building a Good Image For Avenor – A Collective Responsibility”
The festival will be preceded by a lineup of pre-festival activities that will start from Friday 22nd of November 2019 and climaxed with a Grand durbar on the Saturday, 30th of November, 2019 and a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 1st December, 2019.
The Festival is literally, a call to everyone to come and see what Avenor is made up of and support in building a better Avenor. It is an avenue to showcase and promote all assets of Avenor, and a platform to brand and market the Avenor land, in the bid to attract investors and tourists to Avenor, boost economic activity and also foster a high level of unity and pride in the hearts of the natives of Avenor.
We believe Avenor can rise up to the challenge through a massive strategic branding and marketing to position it as a destination conducive for habitation, trade, tourism and other possibilities.
