Mama Agbaledzopui II Foundation Donates Library Books to Selected Schools in Dzodze.


Mama Agbaledzopui II, Queen mother of Dzodze Afetefe through her foundation-the Agbaledzokpui II foundation on Wednesday the 17th of March, 2021 donated library books to two schools in Dzodze:the beneficiaries schools are the Dzodze Roman Catholic Central Junior High School and Dzodze Evangelical Presbytarian Primary School.
Speaking to reporters,the Queen mother indicated her hope is that through these initiatives , school children will come to be at par with their counterparts in the cities.
She said it is the desire of her foundation to promote good education in Ketu north hence the gesture.
” with time we’ll be visiting to see how teaching and leaning is improving and the challenges tutors are facing so as to see how best to help. She indicated that even though government has introduced free Senior High School Policy and feeding programs, government alone can not do all as far as education is concerned stressing it is necessary for parents and other stakeholders to also help by buying books and other supplement to secure the future of our children”
Mama Agbaledzopui II continued by saying girl child education is the foundations topmost priority, and thus asked girls to take their studies serious and avoid teenage pregnancy for a brighter future.

This is not the first time Mama Agbaledzopui II Foundation has extended helping hand to school children in Dzodze and Ketu north and assured the foundation will continue to champion some of these important activities.
In an interview with the headmaster of Dzodze R.C Central Junior High School- Mr. Benjamin Dzata, he was grateful and thanked Mama Agbaledzopui for the kind gesture and promised to put the books to good use for the benefit of all.
Also the Acting Headmistress of Dzodze E.P Primary School – Madam Grace Akpaka, said the books will help advance leaning among the students alot.
” My expectation is to receive more of these materials to help advance leaning among our students, I’m pleading with the general public especially old students to also come to our aid not only with books but also classroom for we need more rooms ” she said.
Mama Agbaledzopui II, again advised the students to observe personal hygiene, hand washing with soap and water to prevent the spread of Covid-19 .
