On receiving the PPEs and supplies, the leader of the market women expressed her sincere gratitude to the Queen Mother for remembering them and also recognizing them as essential service providers who are at risk of the virus due to their activities in the market.

Mama Agbaledzokpui II,, in her presentation of the items, admonished the market women to make good use of the items they were receiving and also educate them on the safety protocols to be observed in order to prevent the spread of the virus including; washing of hands with soap under running water, using hand sanitizer where necessary, observing safe social distancing in addition to wearing the nose masks at all times when in public or interacting with others. She reiterated this to the market women since they were always handling monies; money being one of the common agents for spreading the virus.

From the market, the Queen Mother and her team, then proceeded to the radio stations where she made similar presentations of PPEs and Supplies and appealed to them to intensify the education on the virus, especially the safety precautions to be followed as prescribed by the World Health Organisation, the Ghana Health Service and also as directed by the President of the Republic in his addresses to the nation.

The Queen Mother stated that she acknowledges the role the media plays in the fight against the virus, especially the ability of the stations to reach a larger population through their airwaves.
The radio stations she visited were; Denyigba Radio, Fafaa FM, Agboo FM, Dzigbordi FM in Dzodze and Revival Radio at Tadzewu.
